All of us have gone through times when we had some doubts. David was no different. In Psalms 27, David said, “Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger.” Then he adds, “You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me.. O God of my salvation!”
So, David was experiencing some doubts. But later, David had hope restored. He said, “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13).
David had lost hope but now, his Hope has returned. He believes that He will live to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
We can have the same Hope. We too, can believe that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
