Fear is something everyone deals with at times. The word “phobia” means fear. Think about the number of phobia’s there are;
Claustrophobia – Fear of tight places
Arachnaphobia- fear of spiders
Acrophobia – fear of heights
Hydrophobia – fear of water
And there are many others. A common phobia is the fear of speaking in public.
Psalms 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger so why should I tremble?”
Do you have a particular fear? If so, give it to the Lord. Paul said in II Tim. 1:7; “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Whatever you are anxious about, give it to the Lord.
Someone has said that courage is being afraid but saddling up anyway.
