“Yes, but”

God answers our prayers in one of three ways; Yes, No or Wait.” I might add a fourth answer, “Yes…but.”

There are times when God answers our prayers in the affirmative but, we may have to be patient with some things or live with some things.

In Acts 27, Paul was on board a ship that was facing a major storm. The Lord appeared to Paul in a dream and told him the crew would survive the storm however, they would be shipwrecked. So, God’s answer was “Yes but…”.

You may have experienced a similar answer to prayer. When this happens, the Lord is telling us that we must live with something. And, if God tells us to live with something, He will give us the strength to deal with it.

So, if God says “Yes, but there is something you will have to live with..” God will give us the strength we need.
