Many of us take some medications daily. Every morning or evening, we take medicine that has been prescribed by our physician. We do it because we believe it will make us feel better. We may get a little nervous if we skip a day.
Proverbs 17:22 says laughter is good medicine. The verse reads, “A cheerful heart is good but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”
When we laugh, we release stress. When we laugh, it does the whole body good. In the past, for some, laughter wasn’t associated with Christianity. The feeling was, if you were a Christian, you had to be stern and serious. But things have changed, thank the Lord.
There is nothing wrong with laughter…there is nothing wrong with a Christian having fun. Laughing is good medicine. We should all try it today.
