Our lives are filled with decisions and to make decisions, we need wisdom. Someone has said that we are where we are in life due to the decisions we’ve made. That is very true. So how do we make good decisions?
In I Kings 3, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream. The Lord asked Solomon what he wanted? The Lord was giving Solomon a blank check. Solomon could have had anything he wanted…he chose wisdom. Solomon knew he needed wisdom to judge correctly.
We need wisdom as well. We need wisdom from God to help us make decisions.
Today, maybe you have some decisions to make. Maybe you are struggling with what to do. If we will ask the Lord, He will give us wisdom.
James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
John Wooden, legendary basketball Coach of the UCLA Bruins once said, “There is a choice you make in everything you do. Remember that the choice you make, makes you.”
