Behold The Lamb Of God!

Behold the Lamb of God”(John1:36)!
That’s how John the Baptist referred to Jesus when he first saw Him. What did “the lamb of God mean?”
Every year, on the day of Passover lambs were given as a sacrifice to God. Jesus came to be the one lamb that would take away all the sin of the world. Jesus would be offered as a sacrifice on the cross…the lamb of God taking away the sin of the world.
Jesus came to earth to offer that sacrifice. This means that Jesus loves us. He came to die for us! He came to pay the debt for our sin!
Today, know that Jesus Christ, the lamb of God loves you! He paid your sin debt! He loves us!
We may have made some mistakes but Jesus still loves us! We may have some flaws but Jesus still loves us!
Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
