Experiencing The Power Of The Resurrection.

Yesterday was Easter Sunday and yes, it was different. For the most part, Christians worshipped from home watching a service on the Internet. But, at least we’re able to see a service. But now what happens?

We have celebrated the resurrection; so, what difference does it make? The resurrection is a historical fact. But that’s not all it is. It should make a difference in our lives. In the book of Phillippians, the apostle Paul said he wanted to experience “the power of the resurrection” (Phil. 3:10). What does that mean?

It means that he wanted to experience the same power that lifted Jesus from the grave. That power is available to all of us. That power gives us the strength we need daily. Sin and temptation are real and they are powerful. We can’t resist temptation on our own. But we don’t have to. The Holy Spirit is there to help us.

If you are struggling to live the Christian life, ask the Holy Spirit to help. The same power that lifted Jesus from the grave is available to us. That is the power of the resurrection.
