Who are you trusting for help and guidance? Many people believe they can do life alone. They believe if they simply work harder than others and learn their craft and develop themselves, they will be ok. And, working hard and focusing on development is good…everyone should do that but, there will be times when we can’t fix everything. So what then? There will be times when we face something out of our control.
Psalms 31:14-15 says, “But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD, I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand…”.
These are two of my favorite verses… Life can be tough. We go through tough times. We face adversity. The Psalmist is saying that when that happens, his trust is in God….”my times are in your hands.”
Who are you trusting today? Are you trusting your bank account? Your network? Your belief that you can handle anything? Those are all good and admirable but you are going to face things that are out of your control. You are going to face things you can’t fix.
Put your trust in God’s hands…our times are in His hands.
