Have you ever tried to call someone but you never seem to be able to get through? You call and you get the switchboard, them You are transferred to someone’s office. Then you are told that the person is busy and you are encouraged to leave a voice-Mail. You leave the voicemail and you hang up frustrated. You want to talk to someone, you don’t like never being able to talk to a person!
Well, Jeremiah 33:3 invites us to talk to God. God speaks through Jeremiah and says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things which you did not know.”
Some have said that Jeremiah 33:3 is God’s phone number. In the verse, God invites us to call. Think about that; God wants to talk with us.
God wants us to talk with him about our burdens.
God wants us to share with him our needs.
God wants us to ask him for direction.
