God’s Anger Lasts For A Moment – His Favor Lasts A Lifetime

Does God ever get angry with His people? The answer is “yes.” God became angry with Israel in the Old Testament and Moses had to intercede for them. So yes, God can become angry with his people.
Will God judge the world? Yes, the Bible says that one day, God will judge.
When God looks at this world, I believe God has a right be angry. Mankind seems to have forgotten God. Personally, I think God has a right to be angry when a Christian can’t find three hours of their time to worship God. Or, when a Christian is at a ball-field on the Lord’s day.
I think God has a right to be angry when Christians use God’s money on other things. God has blessed us and expects us to tithe.
I think God has a right to be angry when Christians give very weak and lame excuses for not being willing to serve.
I think God has a right to be angry when a young lady or a woman gets pregnant and then they decide they were not ready for kids and they have an abortion.
But, God’s wrath.. and God’s anger are brief. The Psalmist said, “For his anger lasts only a moment, his favor lasts a lifetime.”
There have been times in my life when God would have been right, to become angry with me. I wasn’t being obedient. I made some foolish decisions.
God loves us… while God may become angry with us, it is brief… and His favor lasts a lifetime. Thank the Lord for the favor of God!
